Before we start any job, everything is planned out according to your schedule and what works best for you. We know that having painters at your home 8 hours a day can be an invasion on your privacy. We try to make this experience as smooth as possible by letting you know what tasks we will be performing the next day as we move forward on the project.
We
take great pride on transforming your house into something
special. If you are going with the same color as before or changing
colors all together, we are sure you will see a nice difference. Choosing
colors sometimes can be a tough task. We will try to do everything we
can to make sure you are happy with the color you selected, by providing
samples to various areas of your project before we start to apply the
finish coat. We understand that no matter how nice of a job we do, if
the color is off then you're not going to 100% satisfied.
Interior
Painting: We pretty much do all types of interior painting
with emphasis on cleanliness and organization. Before we start any type
of prep work we make sure all floors and furniture are covered. This
is real important to us. When we leave the job, we always like to leave
it cleaner then when we started. I take great pride in this area. In
general if we are painting the entire inside or just several rooms of
your home, we usually start with one room and finish it, then move on
to the next room and so on. This method is much less intrusive than
tearing your whole house apart.
Exterior
Painting: With exterior painting projects we take great
care in keeping your plants and surrounding gardens in great shape,
this is another area I take great pride in. You won't come home and
see a painter cleaning his brushes in your rose garden. Before we start
any exterior job, we will ask you where is the best place to clean up,
If there is none, then we will take our equipment home with us. We also
will let you know what we plan on doing the next day. Communication
is important. Normally these type of projects are not as intrusive as
interior work, however they can be if you work late hours, have children
who take naps during the day or you work at home. We can work around
your schedules and just concentrate on the quite aspects of your job
"no sanding machines or loud equipment" or just work on the opposite
side of the house during these times.
Crown
Molding: We can install crown molding, baseboards, door
casings, and chair rail to add style to your home. A nice thing about
having us do this instead of maybe hiring a carpenter is, we are the
ones that will be painting the finished work. So we take a our time
and make sure the seams are small and there's not six million nail holes
to fill.
Acoustic
Removal: We can remove that old acoustic ceiling you
have to give your home a more modern look by either applying texture
and paint or just painting. In General we spend 60% of the
time hanging plastic, covering areas and proper setup. The other 40%
we are actually removing the acoustic. Removing acoustic or popcorn
ceilings over plaster walls is easier then removing from drywall.
Just a quick note here, if your ceilings currently have the heater coils
in them, there is a 95% chance you will have to apply some sort of new
texture or apply a skim coat to hide all the imperfections.
Wallpaper
Removal: We can remove just about all types of wallpaper.
This sometimes can be tricky because we have no way of telling what's
behind the paper, there might be other layers or massive cracks. Either
way we can remove the paper and make those walls look real nice by either
applying texture and then painting them or we can just patch the
cracks and paint.
