A Little Bit About Me
My painting career began right after I left the Marine Corps in 1989. I started doing track work in Palos Verdes, spending the first six months learning nothing but prep—sanding, scraping, masking, caulking—everything that forms the foundation of great painting. I wasn’t even allowed to pick up a brush at first.
For the next couple of years, I continued doing track work as an enamel guy. Eventually, I wanted something different, so I switched to residential painting and joined Student Painters in Fullerton. That’s when everything clicked. I found myself really enjoying the work, and before long, I became the lead man running my own projects.
After gaining more experience and confidence, I decided to start my own company. In 1995, I passed the State exam, earned my California Contractor’s License, and founded Patrick Miller Painting.

I personally come to your home, discuss your concerns, answer any questions, and make sure we are both on the same page regarding your project. I then prepare the estimate myself to ensure accuracy and clarity.
When the job starts, I’m on site performing the work. This hands-on approach ensures consistent, high-quality results.
